Last updated: 1 October 2026

About these terms

These terms govern business use of Schema Studio, provided by Pretty Slick Limited, company number 14188868, of Dale House, 64 Fink Hill, Horsforth, Leeds, England, LS18 4DH. Contact [email protected] with questions.

The service

Schema Studio helps you build JSON schemas and edit supported JSON metafields through forms in Shopify admin. It currently supports products, collections and product variants. Not every JSON Schema feature is supported. Review the generated schema and test it against your intended content before using it in production.

Your responsibilities

You must be authorised to install the app and edit the store’s data. You are responsible for your schemas, content, permissions and backups, and for checking changes before saving. Do not use the service unlawfully, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the service or store sensitive personal information using the app.

Your content and our software

You retain your rights in your content and schemas. You permit us to process them as needed to provide the service. Pretty Slick retains its rights in the app, branding and software. Your permission to use the app is limited to its intended purpose while installed.

Free to use

Schema Studio’s current features are free to use. No paid subscription is required. Your Shopify plan and any third-party services remain subject to their own charges and terms.

Availability and support

We aim to provide a useful, reliable service, but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or compatibility with every schema, theme or third-party integration. Shopify changes, maintenance or outages may affect the app. Contact us for support; no guaranteed response time applies unless separately agreed.

Ending use

You may stop using the app by uninstalling it through Shopify. Your metafields and their stored content remain in your store. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security issues or legal requirements.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect losses or losses caused by incorrect schemas, content, unauthorised use or third-party service failures. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we process information associated with the service.

Changes and governing law

We may update these terms and will communicate material changes where required. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales, subject to mandatory applicable rights.
