Information we process
When you install and use the app, we process your Shopify shop identifier, installation permissions, authentication tokens and session information. Shopify may provide the authorised admin user’s identifier, name and email address as part of authentication. We also process information you send when asking for support.
The app reads JSON metafield definitions, their validation schemas and the values you choose to edit on products, collections and product variants. Saved content is written to your Shopify store. The current app does not request customer or order access.
Why we use it
We use this information to authenticate your store, render and save forms, operate and secure the service, and answer support requests. We rely on performance of our agreement for providing the service, legitimate interests for security and support, and legal obligations where applicable.
Sharing and storage
Shopify processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. Our hosting and infrastructure providers process information needed to run the app. We do not sell your personal information. Provider identities, data locations and any international transfer safeguards will be specified in the final policy.
Authentication sessions are stored in the app’s database. Metafield content is held in your Shopify store; the app processes it to display and save your edits. Do not use the app to store sensitive personal information.
Retention and uninstalling
We retain information only for the purposes described above and applicable legal requirements. The final policy will specify retention periods for sessions, support correspondence, logs and backups. Uninstalling does not remove your Shopify metafields or content. You can contact us to request deletion of information we hold, subject to applicable obligations.
Cookies and security
The app uses authentication and session mechanisms required to operate within Shopify. The current landing page does not include analytics or advertising tracking. Infrastructure providers may process network and security information. We use access controls and authenticated Shopify requests to protect the service.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal information, and object to certain processing. Contact us to make a request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
We will update this page when our practices change and provide notice of material changes where required.
